More About Josh Hatter
Josh Hatter moved to Charleston from the Washington, DC area in 1999 to complete a Business Administration degree at the College of Charleston. He graduated from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina with an MBA in 2010.
After spending nearly 20 years of his professional career growing businesses primarily supporting the US Navy, he decided to rent a single bedroom out of his home in 2016. Since that single bedroom nearly 8 years ago, he has grown his portfolio into several businesses owning short-term rentals and B&Bs, as well as managing a $100M portfolio of STRs and B&Bs for clients to help them meet their long-term investment property goals.
He loves supporting his clients, growing their investments and hosting thousands of guests as they visit Charleston through his property management company, Curated Vacation Properties.
Josh married his best friend, Katie, in 2022. They recently moved to their first home in Mount Pleasant to continue building their life together with their two cats, Fred and Leo, and their two pocket beagles, Pavlov and Archimedes. They can be found on weekend mornings with Pavy and Archie, running the beaches at the world’s most relaxing open-dog hours at Sullivans Island.
Josh and his team strive to provide unparalleled customer service to clients and guests alike and to maintain the quality of each property. Our values of trust, transparency, communication, adaptability, and responsiveness are at the core of every single thing we do.
The CVP team has grown to support our growing number of clients, and we address every management aspect to make our clients’ properties a turnkey investment. Collectively, the team has more than 50 years of experience in buying and managing short-term rentals in the Lowcountry.
